Now this is something I find to be interesting on this Saturday morning. A Muslim Economic Growth Index is being developed by Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia (IKIM). Why now only it is being developed I have no idea. But it is a good initiative nonetheless. But having just the index and the results is of no use if Muslims especially the Malays ones are not up to the challenge to make useful reforms.
We can have indexes for almost everything but if the information can't be understood or analysed I figure it would just be some graphs and stats that would just gather dust on some ministry official desk or become a coaster for his Kopi Jantan.
