Thank you to Enigma who posted this in the comments of one of my postings. It is not so much that I am against the building of the facility but I am highly skeptical of the way the matter have been progressing. If it was a uninhabited piece of property it is not much of a problem but what was my grouse is that there are people staying there. After the demolition started some had to stay in makeshift tents. Now how can the government or part of it's affiliated institution allow such thing to happen?
I have not been to the site myself but I have driven by and saw the tent for my own eyes. It is sad really. So, to friends of mine... I don't really care if my case is still pending the decision of the minister. What this University has proceed to do and the manner it has done it, thus far is really sad and cruel. I guess someone is mighty happy now.
ps: Anyone knows the luck of the family that was staying in that tent? Are they still there or they have been given proper housing and facilities?
